Dear Reader, Apologies for not sending out a newsletter for the past fortnight. I had tonsillitis and was lying in bed for most of that time! As usual, I paused payments for the period when I wasn’t writing. In a recent edition of Der Spiegel, Germany’s leading political magazine, Olaf Scholz’ face was splashed across the cover accompanied by the words:
