Hello and welcome to the German Review!

This is an online magazine for German news and current affairs, which aims to provide stimulating analysis on the events that are shaping Germany today.

It is written by Jörg Luyken, a journalist who has been based in Berlin for the best part of a decade. His writing has appeared in the Telegraph, Der Spiegel, The Spectator, The Times, Die Welt and many other publications. Before going freelance he was also editor of The Local Germany.
