Germany’s finance minister promised protection against inflation to millions of workers on Wednesday via a €10 billion euro tax relief package.
Christian Lindner, of the liberal Free Democrats, said that he would raise income tax brackets to ensure that workers were not hit by higher prices and higher taxes at the same time.
