I’m Jörg Luyken, a British hack with German heritage who is based in Berlin.

Welcome to my newsletter on German current affairs.

I set this up back in 2020 to give English speakers a deeper understanding of some of the major political and cultural shifts happening in Germany today.

Those are some of the questions I will try to answer for you in articles that appear in your inbox every week.

This newsletter is funded by its readership. As a thank you, I send an additional newsletter at the weekend to those who pay for a subscription.
